Miss Fairy G’s Summer Adventures Lead to Las Vegas School Assembly Shows
What a summer it has been for Miss Fairy G!
This summer brought laughter, learning, puppetry, performances, and plenty of unforgettable moments with children across Las Vegas. However, as summer comes to an end, another exciting season is beginning.
Schools are back in session. Therefore, Miss Fairy G is now preparing for Las Vegas school assembly shows throughout the fall.
Before jumping into the new school year, let’s look back at an incredible summer.
Seven Magical Mindset Library Shows Across Las Vegas
One of the biggest highlights of the summer was participating in the Summer Challenge with the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District.
Miss Fairy G presented seven performances at seven different library branches throughout the district.
The show, Magical Mindset, combined entertainment with positive messages created especially for young audiences.
Children laughed, participated, and became part of the experience. Meanwhile, the show encouraged them to think positively and believe in their ability to grow.
Each library brought a different audience and a different energy. However, the goal remained the same.
Miss Fairy G wanted children to have fun while discovering the power of a positive mindset.
Most importantly, the Summer Challenge provided another opportunity to connect live theater with learning.
Summer Camp and Preschool Shows Kept the Fun Going
Libraries were only part of Miss Fairy G’s busy summer.
Throughout the season, she also performed numerous summer camp and preschool shows across Las Vegas.
These lively 25-minute performances were designed specifically for younger children. As a result, the pacing stayed quick, colorful, interactive, and fun.
The shows combined magic, comedy, audience participation, and puppetry.
Rather than simply watching, children became part of the experience. They laughed, responded to the characters, and helped move the show forward.
Additionally, the shorter format worked perfectly for preschool students and younger summer campers.
Every performance gave children an opportunity to experience live entertainment designed just for them.
Birthday Parties and Private Events Filled the Summer Calendar
Miss Fairy G also spent plenty of time celebrating birthdays and special occasions this summer.
Birthday parties and private events continue to be an important part of what Miss Fairy G does throughout Las Vegas.
After all, children love seeing a performer arrive specifically for their celebration.
The birthday child gets to feel special. Meanwhile, friends and family share the laughter and excitement.
Private performances can also adapt to different locations, group sizes, and celebrations.

Summer may be ending, but Miss Fairy G certainly is not slowing down.

Returning to The Smith Center as a Teaching Artist
The new school year also brings another exciting chapter.
Miss Fairy G plans to return as a teaching artist with The Smith Center in Las Vegas through its Wolf Trap of Southern Nevada program.
Wolf Trap focuses on arts integration and gives educators creative ways to connect the arts with early childhood learning.
That approach fits naturally with Miss Fairy G.
Performance can do much more than entertain children.
For example, theater encourages imagination, communication, participation, and creative thinking. Likewise, puppetry and storytelling can help children understand ideas through characters and experiences.
Arts integration allows learning to become active.

Miss Fairy G is looking forward to returning to elementary schools throughout Las Vegas. Additionally, private performances and birthday celebrations will continue throughout the school year.
